John Chevalier is director, investor relations for The Procter & Gamble Company. John joined the investor relations department in 2002, and since that time P&G has been recognized as “Best Investor Relations Program in the Consumer Sector” for seven years by Institutional Investor Magazine. In 2010, John was recognized as Institutional Investor Magazine’s “First Team All-America Investor Relations Officer” by both the buy-side and sell-side. Also, John has been recognized as P&G “CFO Circle Fellow,” the highest award within P&G Finance & Accounting’s technical mastery recognition program.
Prior to working in investor relations, John was finance manager of P&G’s baby care, feminine care and tissue & towel businesses in northeast Asia, based in Kobe, Japan. His earlier assignments with P&G included global strategic planning and financial analysis in the baby care business, finance leader for two acquisition integrations, and finance manager of two manufacturing facilities. John celebrated his 21st year employment with P&G in June 2010.
John has been a member of the National Investor Relations Institute since starting in Investor Relations in 2002. He has served as President and Program Chair of the Cincinnati Tri-State Chapter, and he served on the NIRI Annual Conference Committee.
John graduated from Miami University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Finance and a minor in Decision Sciences.
