George S. Davis

Executive Vice President and CFO, Qualcomm Incorporated

George S. Davis joined Qualcomm in March 2013 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. In this role, he is responsible for leading Qualcomm’s global finance organization, information technology and investor relations. Davis is also a member of the Company’s executive committee, helping to drive Qualcomm’s overall global strategy.

Prior to joining Qualcomm, Davis was chief financial officer for Applied Materials, beginning in 2006, with responsibility for finance, IT, strategy and corporate development, as well as government relations. During his nearly 13-year tenure with Applied Materials, Davis held several leadership roles including corporate treasurer and head of the corporate business development group, where he was responsible for merger and acquisition activities, strategic planning, and management of the company's venture investments.

Davis is a member of The Wall Street Journal CFO Network, The Conference Board’s Council of Financial Executives and the Center for Corporate Innovation’s CFO Group. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Claremont McKenna College and his master’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
