Pete Michelsen joined CamberView Partners (CVP) in March 2014 with more than a decade of experience advising boards and executive management teams involved in contested situations, including shareholder activism, proxy fights and hostile takeovers.  CVP is an investor-led advisory firm that has advised over 130 public company clients, including >35% of the Fortune 100, on a range of complex and contested shareholder issues.  In less than four years, CVP has advised on 20+ activism and proxy fight situations and $225BN+ of contested M&A.
 
Previously, Mr. Michelsen was a managing director in the investment banking division of Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he was a member of the mergers & acquisitions group and a core member of the shareholder activism defense group. Mr. Michelsen started his career at Merrill Lynch & Co., where he executed M&A transactions across a broad range of industries. He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College.
