Russ has been a journalist for 35 years and a business journalist for 26 years. He was a business reporter at the Los Angeles Daily News, L.A. Bureau Chief at MarketWatch from Dow Jones and has returned for his "second tour of duty" at Investor's Business Daily as an assistant news editor at their main L.A. offices. Russ worked at IBD in the late 1990s, covering the dot-com boom as a reporter and editor, before moving to MarketWatch in late 2000 to get experience as a Web journalist. He was at the bureau for 15 years prior to its closing last year when he returned to IBD to help with their still-ongoing digital conversion.
