Barbara Gasper Senior Advisor, Arbor Advisory Group Barbara Gasper is a senior finance practitioner with 40 years of corporate experience, including 25 years in corporate investor relations. Her diverse industry background includes aerospace-defense, automotive, financial services/payments, management consulting services, steel and telecommunications. Most recently, she created the IR function at Mastercard in advance of the company’s 2006 IPO and led that effort as the company grew from $4 billion to over $100 billion in market cap during her 10-year tenure. Since May 2017, she has been serving as a Senior Advisor for the Arbor Advisory Group, which provides strategic IR counsel to a number of public companies. Ms. Gasper is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), currently serving on their Ethics Council and is a former NIRI National Board member. She also served as an officer of the Investor Relations Association. She has been the recipient of numerous awards from Institutional Investor Magazine and IR Magazine, including IR Magazine’s 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award and 2002 Most Improved IR Program Award. Ms. Gasper was inducted as a NIRI Fellow in 2014. She has been a frequent speaker at professional conferences and holds a BS in Mathematics from Bucknell University and an MBA from Widener University.
