ALEXANDRIA, VA (October 2, 2020) -- The NIRI 2020 Annual Conference, which was previously rescheduled due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be re-imagined and held as NIRI's Virtual Conference on December 8-10, 2020. 

"The innovative design of NIRI's first Virtual Conference will feature both live and recorded sessions, as well as live virtual networking," said NIRI President and CEO Gary LaBranche, FASAE, CAE. "The theme for the conference, chosen pre-COVID, is more appropriate than ever: Transforming Disruption into Opportunity. Unable to meet in person due to the pandemic, NIRI2020 will be transformed into a unique learning and engagement experience, at much lower cost to registrants, and with three months of access to educational sessions. Never have so many IR professionals have had such access to learning for so long at such little cost. I applaud the NIRI 2020 Annual Conference Committee who have been so dedicated and flexible in their efforts since last year to deliver all the excellent professional development programming expected at a NIRI Annual Conference." 

NIRI2020 will deliver dozens of education sessions from leading industry professionals, as well as opportunities to interact with speakers and network with each other. Attendees will be able to access educational sessions on-demand until March 2021. Registration fees will be 66% less than the in-person Annual Conference, originally scheduled in Miami Beach in June. Recorded sessions will be available beginning December 1, with live presentations, networking and exhibit hours offered in the afternoons (ET) of December 8-10. 

The NIRI2020 Virtual IR Showcase will feature exhibits and demos from the most respected companies in the industry showcasing the products and services that IR professionals need to succeed. 

Existing registrations for the 2020 in-person Annual Conference (including guest registrations) have been cancelled and have been applied as a credit in each registrants' NIRI account for the full amount of the registration fees paid. This credit balance can be applied to any NIRI products, including event registrations, online education, and membership dues. Click here for instructions on how to redeem this credit. Credits will expire in one year on October 2, 2021. A full or partial refund of this credit balance can also be requested by email to accounting@niri.org at any time before October 2, 2021.
