ALEXANDRIA, VA – The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) has announced the nomination of five candidates to serve on NIRI’s Board of Directors.
 
Regular members (corporate IR practitioners and counselors) are asked to vote for a slate of new directors to serve four-year terms on the Board of Directors. The candidates include:
  • Darin Arita, CFA, IRC, Senior Vice President and Head of Investor Relations, Prudential Financial, Inc.
  • Katie Royce, CFA, Global Head of Investor Relations, Cognizant Technology Solutions
  • Brook Wootton, MBA, IRC
  • Rich Yerganian, Vice President of IR, Cerence Inc.
Associate members (service providers) are asked to vote for a candidate to serve a two-year term as Associate Member Director on the Board. The candidate is:
  • Tim Quast, President, ModernIR
The deadline for voting is November 15. Voting instructions and candidate bios can be found on the NIRI website through this link.  Members may also vote by logging in through the NIRI Customer Portal and going to Online Surveys.

In addition, Ruth Venning, Executive Director, Investor Relations, Horizon Therapeutics plc, has been selected by the Board to serve as Chair-elect for the coming year.  She will take office following NIRI’s Annual Meeting on December 4 at the Ritz Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California.
