ALEXANDRIA, VA (October 7, 2020) -- The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) has announced the nomination of four candidates to serve on NIRI's Board of Directors. 
 
Regular members (corporate IR practitioners and counselors) are asked to vote for a slate of new directors to serve four-year terms (2021-24) on the Board of Directors. The candidates include: 
  • Rajesh Mehan, IRC, Vice President, Finance & Treasurer, Steelcase, Inc.
  • John Moten, IRC, Vice President, Investor Relations, Foundation Building Materials, Inc.
  • Lisa Rose, IRC, President, Dix & Eaton
  • Cherryl Valenzuela, Interim Head of IR, Twitter
The deadline for voting is November 15. Voting instructions and candidate bios can be found on the NIRI website. Members may also vote by logging in through the NIRI Customer Portal and going to Online Surveys. 
 
"I am pleased that NIRI's Board of Directors has nominated this diverse group of excellent candidates to help guide us through these challenging times," said NIRI President and CEO Gary A. LaBranche, FASAE, CAE. 
 
In addition, Victoria Sivrais, Founding Partner, Clermont Partners, LLC, has been selected by the Board to serve as Chair-elect for the coming year. She will take office following NIRI's annual business meeting on December 3. 
 
Also in December, IR professionals will be able to access the educational content from NIRI's Virtual Conference. Recorded sessions will be available beginning December 1, with live presentations, networking, and exhibit hours offered in the afternoons of December 8-10.
