ALEXANDRIA, VA (December 15, 2020) - Another nine investor relations professionals have received the Investor Relations Charter (IRC®) credential awarded by the Certification Council of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
This class of successful candidates completed the IRC examinations offered in November. A list of this new IRC class is included at the end of this news release. So far, 212 IR counselors and corporate IR professionals worldwide have earned the IRC credential.
"I want to congratulate the IR professionals who earned the IRC credential this year amid the disruption of the global pandemic," said NIRI President and CEO Gary A. LaBranche, FASAE, CAE. "Their commitment to the IR profession and to their own professional development is commendable."
The IRC program is dedicated to advancing the practice of investor relations and the professional competency and stature of IR professionals. To be eligible to earn and maintain the IRC credential, candidates must pass the IRC exam, meet educational and professional experience requirements, adhere to the IRC Code of Conduct and to NIRI's Code of Ethics, and participate in professional development activities.
NIRI is now accepting exam applications for the March 1-31, 2021, testing window. The initial application deadline is January 15. The final application deadline is February 15. Information and applications are available on NIRI's website:
