This strategic one-day workshop will appeal to IR professionals of all levels, and includes a new strategic messaging development module. Learn the key elements for a successful investor presentation through instructional theory and interactive small group breakouts.

The workshop focuses on the two key forms of communication that help achieve a premium valuation – the Non-Deal Roadshow and the Investor Day.

The Challenge – Developing a Strategic Approach; Moving Beyond Tactics
  • Strategizing on messaging and story positioning is critical to a successful investor presentation and investor day -- the most important work takes place before anyone touches PowerPoint!  This workshop highlights the critical importance of the pre-work strategic thinking.

Learning Outline

  • In the first module, participants will learn and apply the six best practices for creating a compelling investor story. This includes numerous examples and a valuable hands-on breakout in teams.
  • In the second module, which is new to the workshop, participants will be led through a novel framework to identify and develop their own key investor messages. These core messages can drive all investor communications.
  • In the third module participants will learn what makes a successful investor day. Here we will discuss best practices from over 100 company investor days, learn what works and pitfalls to avoid.
