Event Info:
Please join NIRI New York Chapter President Katie Royce and local members of the NIRI Senior Roundtable on November 6 at the Royalton Hotel at 44 W 44th St, New York, NY for an evening of discussion and networking. The event will take place at the Penthouse South (1601) on the 16th floor.
Our special guest will be Paul Roehrig, Chief Strategy Officer for Cognizant Digital Business, founder of the Center for the Future of Work and co-author of "What to Do When Machines Do Everything." With the ability to analyze data and actually learn from it, artificial intelligence (AI) is taking on a bigger role in driving investment decisions while simultaneously changing the business models of the companies underlying those investments. Would AI take a role in managing portfolios or will it only be a valuable tool still subject to human intervention? With so many moving parts in the financial markets and unpredictable behavior, are the financial markets too unpredictable for AI to master? Mr. Roehrig will lead us in a conversation on his research on the "Work Ahead."
Agenda:
6:00 pm - Arrival
6:20 pm - Seating/Introductions
6:30 pm – Dinner Discussion and Q&A
7:55 pm - Wrap-up
8:00 pm - Departure
