Photograph of Lee M. Ahlstrom, IRC Lee M. Ahlstrom served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Paragon Offshore from November 2016 until the company’s sale in March 2018. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, Strategy and Planning of Paragon since its founding in 2014. He served as Senior Vice President – Strategic Development of Noble Corporation since May 2011 and in this capacity, Ahlstrom was responsible for evaluating and developing strategic alternatives and initiatives for the Company. He joined the company in May 2006 and served as Vice President of Investor Relations and Planning.
 
Prior to joining Noble, Mr. Ahlstrom served as the Director of Investor Relations at Burlington Resources, Inc. which was acquired by ConocoPhillips Company in March, 2006. Before joining Burlington, Mr. Ahlstrom worked for Unocal Corporation in a variety of roles including the Manager of Strategy and Planning for the Deepwater, U.S.A. business unit, Manager of Investor Relations, and Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Ahlstrom led the effort to integrate Unocal’s North American assets and people into Chevron’s upstream business when those businesses were merged in 2005.
 
From 1998 to 2002, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, the premier management consulting firm, serving clients in the petroleum, services, and venture capital industries. Mr. Ahlstrom began his career with Exxon where he held a variety of engineering positions. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware.  Mr. Ahlstrom serves on the board of directors for the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and holds NIRI’s Investor Relations Charter (IRC™) credential.
