Howard Rubel Vice President of Investor Relations, General Dynamics Howard A. Rubel joined General Dynamics in January 2018 as vice president of Investor Relations, reporting to Phebe N. Novakovic, chairman and chief executive officer. Rubel was a managing director, Investment Research, for Jefferies since 2004, leading the aerospace and defense industries research group. Prior to this, he held similar senior positions with Schwab Soundview Capital Markets; Goldman, Sachs & Co.; and C.J. Lawrence, Morgan Grenfell. Rubel earned a bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University.
