A few years past the pandemic and corporate marketing behavior has been permanently altered.   US companies have shifted away from non-deal roadshows and have doubled down on conferences.  Conference attendance is at an all time high which means group sizes are larger than ever and many are questioning the effectiveness of these events.  Concurrently, many major money centers are seeing NDR volumes drop by as much as 60% vs pre pandemic levels while IROs in the US are behind their global counterparts in doing IR only events.

This panel will discuss these trends, the pros and cons of the changes and will share some interesting trend data to help IROs determine the best way to spend their time with investors. As IROs look to balance quality and quantity of investor interactions it is critical to look at corporate behavior across the board and assess whether management teams are maximizing their return on time with investors.

Learning Objectives:
  • Learn how to manage the on-going balance between quality and quantity when it comes to investor meetings.
  • Learn the pros and cons of different meeting types, why brokers prefer some over others and which ones have a higher likelihood of getting you in front of real decision makers.
  • Understand the real trends in the industry post-pandemic and how other companies are approaching IR only meetings vs CEO meetings, international vs domestic marketing, and conferences vs NDRs.
