If you would like to know how companies are valued by investors and analysts then this course is for you. We cover what’s meant by intrinsic value (including the key inputs to discounted cash flow models) and valuation using multiples. We also consider valuation in an M&A context. Finally, we help you understand what you can do in communications terms to ensure that your company’s stock is fairly valued.

  • Equity and enterprise multiples and which to use 
  • Understanding price targets and recommendations
  • Which sector, which methodology?
  • Commonly used multiples in M&A
  • Evaluating deals - impact on EPS and on value creation 
  • Equity and debt-funded deals and why a mixture is often most appropriate 
  • Using communications to influence valuation
