Two-Part Masterclass on Compelling Investor Presentations and Investor Days

Experience an interactive, hands-on workshop held over two days and enjoy live discussions and guided activities to maximize your learning potential.

Creating Compelling Investor Presentations

Investor audiences have a limited attention span for company presentations. In a world of virtual meetings, there is a much greater need to be clear and concise. To effectively engage and hold your audience’s attention, virtual investor meetings require a different mindset and application of new best practices.

This virtual workshop from expert instructor David Fine brings a powerful organizing concept to investor presentations - the pyramid principle. By applying the pyramid principle and proven presentation best practices, participants will leave this course with actionable steps to achieve success in two key outreach components of an IR program:
  • Creating compelling and engaging investor presentations
  • Executing a successful investor day
Participants will also get the unique opportunity to submit their own investor presentations for critique. Learners whose presentations are reviewed will walk away with valuable feedback to elevate their presentations to the next level.

Learning Outline

Day 1
  • Discuss the pyramid principle and best practices for creating a compelling investor story.
  • Participate in small group exercises to critique their colleages' investor presentations.
  • Day 1 Homework: apply these principles to an investor deck.
Day 2
  • Collaborate in small groups to critique investor presentations.
  • Discuss investor days including best practices and things to avoid.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is designed for all IR professionals but will be extremely beneficial to:
  • Companies with low valuations partly due to misunderstood or complex stories.
  • Companies in industries with complex stories – technology, healthcare, biotech and multi-segment businesses.
  • Companies strongly focused on attracting new investors.
  • IROs hoping to elevate or refresh their investor presentations.
