What is included in the cost of my registration?

Your conference registration includes full and open* access to all sessions, the Showcase and special events. As applicable, breakfast, lunch, evening receptions and breaks are also included. Conference attendees are responsible for all related expenses such as air travel, ground transportation, lodging. Saturday workshops require separate registrations and are not included in Conference registration.

 
*Service providers may not market or sell in sessions, hallways, or networking events. Only sponsoring exhibitors may engage attendees in the Showcase.

Can I pay to attend only one day or part of Conference?

NIRI does not offer a partial registration. Please note that Saturday seminar registrations do not include registration for Conference; and Conference registration does not include registration for the Saturday seminars.

What are the registration deadlines? How can I attend a pre-Conference seminar?

The very popular pre-Conference seminars are held at the hotel on Saturday. To attend a seminar, you must register separately. Please note that Saturday seminar registrations do not include registration for Conference.

Are meals included with my registration?

NIRI provides breakfasts, lunch and afternoon breaks on Monday and Tuesday, and breakfast on Wednesday. The NIRI receptions include hors d'oeuvres.

Can my guest attend meeting functions, as well as evening receptions?

Registered guests include any party not professionally in the field of investor relations or a related discipline. A member may not be a guest pass recipient.

All guests of registrants must register separately in order to participate in evening events. The guest fee is $100 and allows access to Conference evening events only. Guest registrants may not attend any session, breakfast, lunch, sporting event, or workshop.

How can I obtain an invoice/receipt for a registration or group of registrations?

A receipt is sent via email at the time of registration. A confirmation email, with more information about your registration, is also sent at that time.

You can re-print the system generated receipt by clicking on My Transaction then click on View under Event.

Can I substitute/transfer someone else to attend the Conference?

You can substitute someone else by emailing prodev@niri.org with the new registrant's name and contact information.

Conference Registration Cancellation Procedure?

To cancel, submit a request in writing to Professional Development (prodev@niri.org). A refund of the registration fees will be processed within one month following Annual Conference.

  • May 1: Last day to cancel and receive a refund minus $125 administration fee.

  • May 2: Beginning on this day, NO refund can be provided for registration cancellations. However, contact NIRI as soon as possible to send a substitute.

Does NIRI provide continuing education credits, CPE credits, or a certificate of attendance? Will there be presentation handouts provided onsite?

Per the NIRI less-paper and social responsibility initiative, handouts will not be printed in advance. Session material is accessible from the Conference website and mobile app. Registrant log-in is required to access.

Who developed Conference? Who is the Annual Conference Committee?

Conference is developed by the Annual Conference Committee (ACC) which is comprised of members of the NIRI community. The ACC began work in the summer and follows a well-defined process that includes:

  • topic identification and ideation
  • speaker recruitment and preparation
  • session refinement via conference calls and in-person meetings where ACC members challenge, defend, and validate session ideas

Is Wi-Fi provided?

Free (limited bandwidth) wifi is available in the main meeting areas and in nearly all session rooms. Due to the limited bandwidth, Wi-Fi is not recommended for use by exhibitors for their displays/presentations.

What is the attire?

The dress code for the Conference is business casual. Meeting room temperatures will vary, so wear layered clothing to ensure your personal comfort. We also recommend comfortable shoes.

Where is the Information Center?

General questions about Conference and NIRI are answered at the NIRI Registration Desk and NIRI Booth.

Is there an attendee list?

A list of attendees will be made available within the Conference app.

Is there a Conference app?

Yes.  Details for downloading the application will be emailed to all registrants prior to the Conference.

What is the closest airport?

Orlando International Airport (airport code MCO) is the closest airport and is less than 15 minutes from the hotel.

I am attending Conference and I have special needs (dietary, mobility, etc.). How can I inform you of them?

NIRI and the hotel will make every effort to meet your specific accommodation needs. Please contact Professional Development Team at prodev@niri.org.

Is childcare service provided?

Childcare service is not provided. Attendees may contact the concierge at the Conference hotel for hotel and local childcare options.
