Barbara Gasper joined MasterCard Worldwide in 2006 as group executive, Investor Relations. Her responsibilities include cultivating relationships with the investment community, educating and updating investors about the company and providing feedback on how the market views the company. Ms. Gasper also works closely with Worldwide Communications to manage and direct the flow of financial and other information about MasterCard in the public domain. She is a member of the company’s Operating Committee.

Ms. Gasper joined MasterCard from Ford Motor Company where she was the vice president of Investor Relations overseeing all aspects of the investor relations program for the multi-billion dollar global company.

Prior to Ford Motor Company, Ms. Gasper held executive investor relations positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Group, Lucent Technologies and Raytheon. She also spent over 20 years at Lukens Inc. where she worked in both engineering and corporate finance roles, including the Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer.

Ms. Gasper is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and formerly served on their National Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Investor Relations Association. Before joining MasterCard, she served on a number of community boards, including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Philadelphia’s Freedom Valley Girl Scout Council.
Ms. Gasper holds a BS in Mathematics from Bucknell University and an MBA from Widener University.

Chief Accountant, SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance

  • Mark Kronforst is chief accountant of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Corporation Finance, serving in that role since 2013.
  • Prior to that, Mark has served as one of the division’s associate directors for disclosure operations and the division’s deputy chief accountant. 
  • Before joining the SEC, Mark was the director of financial reporting for Solectron Corporation and an audit senior manager at the accounting firm of KPMG LLP.
  • Mark received his Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and is a certified public accountant.
  • Mark combines a deep knowledge of accounting and experience in the private sector with a broad understanding of the disclosure requirements of the federal securities laws.
