NIRI Publishes Seventh Edition of Standards of Practice for Investor Relations – Disclosure

ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 21, 2023 NIRI: The Association for Investor Relations completed a comprehensive update of its landmark publication, Standards of Practice for Investor Relations – Disclosure. The new seventh edition is designed to educate investor relations (IR) professionals on legal requirements and best practices in disclosure of information to stakeholders.

“Disclosure is a core competency in the practice of investor relations, and IR professionals have often been referred to as ‘chief disclosure officers,’” said NIRI President and CEO Matthew D. Brusch, CAE. “They must have a working knowledge of disclosure concepts, securities regulations, and court decisions that shape what information is disclosed, when, how, and to whom. This publication provides that knowledge and should be an essential part of every Investor Relations Officer’s toolkit.”
