In the past, ETFs had a reputation - popular with retail investors, but ultimately, low risk and low reward. In this session, we'll hear from Jennifer Grancio at The TCW Group who challenges that narrative. For many ETFs, active management is back - and outperforming their passive counterparts more than 50% of the time, according to Morningstar's semiannual Active/Passive Barometer report. What does this paradigm shift mean for IROs, and how can you engage this audience effectively? Be sure to tune in for this dynamic discussion to find out.

It is best to have a strategic approach to leveraging communication vehicles and reporting frameworks, and there is not a one size fits all solution. How will it change the way we conduct business? How long will it take and how widespread will AI be?

This session will discuss how AI is being used currently by the Buy side, Sell side and IRO and the benefits that could be gained over the next two to three years.  These include tracking and comparing peer analytics, enhancing your ability to track analyst reports, tracking industry trends and news, improving investor targeting, and even just summarizing company earnings calls and prioritizing follow-ups. In addition to the benefits there are also potential threats from AI which include external reputation risk from fake news, false accusations from increased news flow, internal challenges and threats to the business model.
