This Senior Roundtable webinar will focus on how successful investor relations programs attract and develop strong relationships and increase intimacy with potential and current investors through innovative investor days, facility visits, product demonstrations, third-party expert calls and other industry events. Learn from three IR professionals how they have developed different interactions and strategies to craft a deep investor following and a high level of intimacy with their shareholders. The panel will be followed by facilitated small-group discussions with your Senior Roundtable peers.

Panelist Bios:

Julie Dewey is Chief Communications & IR Officer at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc.  In her 20-year career as an IRO, Julie led the investor relations programs at several publicly-traded medical device companies, including Nevro Corp., Wright Medical Group, N.V. (acquired by Stryker), ev3 Inc. (acquired by Covidien), and Kyphon Inc. (acquired by Medtronic).  Julie was ranked the #1 IRO in Institutional Investor’s All-America Executive Team midcap rankings seven times from 2016 to 2023 and was also honored as Best IRO for a small- and mid-cap company by Investor Relations Magazine for five consecutive years from 2014 to 2018. During this period, Investor Relations Magazine also honored Wright Medical for "Best Overall Investor Relations" for a small-midcap company four times, and she was also named one of IR Magazine’s “30 IR Stars over 30 Years.” Julie is a NIRI Fellow and holds the Investor Relations Charter (IRC) credential.

Neal Goldner has been Vice President of IR at Marriott Vacations Worldwide for the last five years. Previously, Neal was with AVIS Budget Group for nine years, and at Henry Schein and Kellogg’s before that. He was ranked in Institutional Investor’s All-American Executive Team a number of times.  Neal worked as an equity analyst and portofolio manager before turning to his IR career. He has been active in chapter activities for New York, Virtual and Florida, was a member of the Steering Committee of SRT, and named a NIRI Fellow in 2022.
 
John Sweeney is Vice President Investor Relations of DXC Technology and was previously in the same role at Dentsply Sirona.  In his 20-year career as an IRO, John managed the investor relations programs for three private equity backed companies that went public: Weight Watchers, Sirona and VWR.  John was Institutional Investor Magazine’s IR Professional of the Year in 2012 and was ranked numerous times by Institutional Investor Magazine at different companies. John is on this year’s Senior Round Table Steering Committee.

Elizabeth Higashi has more than 40 years of experience in communications and investor relations, leading those functions for three Fortune 500 companies and serving as counsel to companies in the financial services, housing, education, media, retail, transportation, chemicals, agricultural products, energy and healthcare industries.  She recently retired from Herc Holdings Inc., where she led the company’s investor relations and sustainability programs after taking the company public in July 2016.  Higashi currently serves on the Steering Committee of NIRI’s Senior Roundtable and previously served on the boards of NIRI Florida and NIRI Chicago, where she also served as president. In June 2020, Higashi was named a NIRI Fellow. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Chicago CFA Society.
