PURPOSE


The NIRI Service Provider Council provides NIRI with strategic insight from the perspective of a key stakeholder group. Composed of service provider members and NIRI staff, the council serves as a conduit to help guide growth and enhance NIRI’s capability to draw on the expertise and resources of the group in the delivery of value to members.

SERVICE PROVIDER COUNCIL GOALS
  • Enhance two-way communication between NIRI and service provider members
  • Incorporate service provider perspective in the development of the NIRI Annual Conference and other sponsored events  
  • Promote NIRI events and membership through service providers 
  • Develop conduct and collaboration guidelines for service providers 
  • Ensure that service providers have a continuing role in NIRI beyond chapter leadership

COUNCIL STRUCTURE
  • Members include NIRI staff and Service Provider Members.
  • Council members serve two-year terms.  

COUNCIL MEMBER SELECTION 

Council members will be chosen based on conference and event participation, as well as engagement and leadership roles in the NIRI community.   

COUNCIL ACTIVITIES
  • Provide ideas and guidance on the NIRI Annual Conference, events, sponsorships and membership initiatives
  • Develop conduct and collaboration guidelines and identify topics for thought leadership for service provider members
  • Develop programs to promote NIRI membership and events to prospective members and attendees

COUNCIL MEETINGS
  • Council Conference calls – every other month
  • In-person meeting during the NIRI Annual Conference
