NIRI pathway-based certificate programs recognize expertise across the Investor Relations Competency Framework. The IR Foundations focuses on Domains 1–5 and is intended for professionals whose experience is concentrated in these core areas of investor relations. The IR Advanced focuses on Domains 6–11 and is designed for professionals with advanced experience in these practice areas.

Completion of both certificates with the required work experience can support advancement toward earning the IRC without additional testing.
