NIRI’s Legislative and Advocacy Fly-In is a unique opportunity for investor relations professionals to participate in hands-on advocacy work to benefit the profession. Join a small group of your IR peers on Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress or their staff and the SEC.
The Fly-In program includes:
- Exclusive briefing sessions on key activities in Congress impacting the industry, new regulations, and implementation plans, and NIRI’s legislative priorities
- Interactive training on advocacy, communicating your “ask”, and building relationships with your elected leaders
- Meetings with Members of Congress or their staff and representatives of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance
- Networking with your NIRI peers from across the country
- Tips on continuing valuable relationships with elected officials once you return home

This limited-capacity program is open to NIRI members who are IR practitioners (corporate and counselors) who are interested in advocating for the profession, strengthening leadership skills, and influencing how policy is crafted on Capitol Hill.
