The Finance Essentials Bootcamp will be held prior to the NIRI 2026 Annual Conference in the same venue (Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk). If you are interested in attending the annual conference in addition to this course, you may register separately here.
This intensive 1.5-day boot camp delivers a practical, end-to-end overview of the finance fundamentals every investor relations professional needs to be effective. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the broader economic and capital markets context, including growth, inflation, interest rates, sector dynamics, and capital raising across the company lifecycle. The program also covers the role of investment banks, different types of investors, regulatory considerations, and how expectations are set and managed in today’s markets.
We will focus on working confidently with financial information, earnings, and valuation. Attendees will learn how financial statements fit together, how performance and cash flow are evaluated, and how analysts, investors, and the media use financial data. The boot camp concludes by connecting valuation, capital structure, ESG considerations, and shareholder value to effective financial communications, equipping participants to tell a clear, compelling investment story.
Registration for this program will open in early February 2026.
