NIRI Virtual – Advocacy Update: Issues on the Hill

Open to all NIRI Members Free of Charge

The NIRI Virtual Chapter invites all NIRI members to join us at 12:00 pm ET on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, for our annual advocacy update program. We are pleased to highlight NIRI National’s advocacy initiatives in the wake of its “2025 Legislative and Advocacy Fly-in,” held each September in Washington, DC. The discussion will feature NIRI National’s Matt Brusch, President & CEO, and Niels Holch, VP, Public Policy & Advocacy. One of NIRI’s primary mission areas is to advocate on issues that impact the IR profession and public companies more broadly. This important function aggregates the opinion of NIRI’s diverse membership, representing every sector and market cap to bring your voice to the regulatory and legislative tables in DC.

You’ll learn about the most important activities at the SEC and in Congress impacting the industry, new regulations, and implementation plans, and NIRI’s legislative priorities. Topics covered during the fly-in are generally expected to cover shareholder transparency modernization, our Public Company Advisory Committee bill, climate change disclosure and other relevant topics.

This key member benefit is particularly critical in today’s rapidly changing regulatory and legislative atmosphere. NIRI interfaces directly with Congress and the SEC and collaborates with other organizations on public policy impacting issuers, shareholders and IR. NIRI’s advocacy efforts harness the collective power of the IR community.

We hope you will join us for this important and timely session, held in an informal Zoom setting to encourage open discussion and interaction.
