Geoffrey Buscher is Director of Investor Relations for Expeditors International (NYSE: EXPD), one of the world’s largest logistics and freight forwarding companies and a member of the S&P 500. Buscher initiated the IR program at Expeditors, which moved from NASDAQ to the NYSE in 2023. Prior to Expeditors, Buscher founded SBG Investor Relations in Seattle in 1998, working with then-emerging tech companies such as Expedia, Yahoo!, Real Networks, and Silicon Graphics, in addition to a wide range of lesser-known industrial stocks. Previously, Buscher was VP of New York-based investor relations firm Morgen-Walke Associates, and strategic financial and crisis communications firm Abernathy MacGregor Group. Buscher has directed investor relations and communications strategies for large- and mid-cap media and telecommunications companies, for domestic and international companies with U.S.-listed ADRs. In addition to cultivating relationships with key members of the institutional investment community, he has planned the communications for IPOs, M&A, and hostile defense. Buscher also conducted publishing industry M&A with a NYC-based investment bank boutique. He holds an MBA from New York University and an MS in journalism from Columbia University.
