NIRI Leadership Update: September 2026

For many years, IR Update magazine has been one of NIRI’s flagship resources and a trusted source of insight and information for the investor relations profession.

I’m pleased to share that today we are turning the page to the next chapter of IR Update, transitioning from a quarterly magazine to a fully digital, web-based publication.

This change reflects how our members increasingly consume information and, more importantly, how quickly the IR profession itself is changing. Rather than waiting for quarterly issues, the new IR Update will enable NIRI to deliver timely, relevant content throughout the year, making it easier to stay current on the developments that affect you and your work.

The new digital IR Update will be an always-current destination for IR information, insights, perspectives and member stories. You’ll find in-depth features on important trends and issues; practical insights from NIRI research; coverage and takeaways from NIRI events; timely Executive Alerts on regulatory and legislative developments; and perspectives from senior executives, investors, IR leaders and other members of our community.

We’re also creating more opportunities to showcase the NIRI community through member and chapter news, professional milestones, volunteer spotlights and new recurring columns. And because the content will live on the web rather than within quarterly pdf issues, it will be easier to search, discover and share.

What won’t change is the purpose behind IR Update. It will remain a practical, credible and member-centered source of investor relations intelligence, focused on helping you understand what is happening, why it matters to IR, and what you can do with that information.

We’re excited about what this evolution will allow us to deliver, and I hope you enjoy and find value in the new digital IR Update.

Sincerely,

Matt
